  Whats Going on?

  hello all i hope everyone and thier families are doing ok. i am doing good adjusting to a new routine was easier than i thought.

  i got my motorcyle back in working order so thats great.

  i was riding with my friend eddy and he told me this girl was intrested in me (one of his wifes friends).

  Hello all I hope everyone and thier families are doing ok. I am doing good adjusting to a new routine was easier than I thought. I got my motorcyle back in working order so thats great. I was riding with my friend Eddy and he told me this girl was intrested in me (one of his wifes friends). So he hooks it up and I meet her. She was nice and pretty. She asks me if I wanted to go see the movie Children of men with her. I say yes and we go. I am sitting in the theater and toward the end theres this gun battle scene. And I was like wow they did a good job on this scene. I wasnt scared but my hands started shaking and my heart started to beat really fast. I told her I had to use the bathroom, so I got up. I just reached the door and I vomitted RIGHT THERE! What the hell! Just as I am finished helping the custodian she walks out asking if I was ok. The custodian says "Oh he just threw up" (jerk). I was really embarassed but I wasnt sick. My buddy says its post traumatic stress, but I have watched gun battles before and that has never happend. She has called me three times since then. I was to embarassed to answer. Does anybody know whats going on?

  well its been quite a while since i posted here, maybee 18 months ago.. hallo, to all our old friends and newbies.,.

  yes i was dissasociated some 6 years ago from the org because i no longer believed in the false organization claiming to represent the creator.

  i replied to an elder i wouldnot piss on any jehovahs wittness if the lot of you were on fire.

  I cant even call it cruel....its beyond that. You would probably hate me Im a hypocritical JW as well. I dont go to meeting at all. My Dad is on his last leg and if I get all ballsy now I wont be able to say goodbye to him. I cant imagine the pain of what u just explained. I send my sympathies to your family.

  When I bought my motorcycle I was "counsoled" by a sister she said I was disrespecting Jehovah everytime I rode. She also told the elders I was speeding all the time. I was!

  my friend is an up and coming jw recruit.

  not baptized, but high-stepping in that direction.. any way... she lives a small rural town and she has to go to a neighboring town to a kh.

  she recently asked her jw guru if there would be a kh built in their own town any time soon.

  Help, I can't seem to keep my nerve!

  as many of you know, i have been shunned by my mother but due to all i have done for her and her attachment to me she has slowly let me back into her life,.

  today i stopped by her home for decorating input and i pulled a bottle of wine from the car so that we could share it together and enjoy what we were doing.

  she had one glass and went into how i must stop smoking for jehovah.

  Maybe you should just try rationing out your visits with your mom. You know don't shun her but limit your time around her so you won't get overwhelmed by all the nonsense. Your mother of course is always a priority but sacrifice putting yourself under stress when you dont have too. Then the relationship will be strained and you might lose it. Anyways hang in there and maybe u should scream.

  Shunned by an old friend

  in all the years i was a jw, although i had many acquaintances, i only had 3 really close friends.

  two of them are no longer jws.

  one is trev, who is obviously a lot more than a friend to me now, and my friend marion left the wts a few months ago, with a lot of encouragement from me.. my other friend is still very much a jw, and when i was announced as no longer a jw last year, she phoned me to tell me how very upset and disappointed she was.

  Im really sorry to hear that happend to you. Im glad though that when you saw her the bitterness you felt when you left the org, didnt come back and you were able to give her a warm greeting even if she didnt return it. I will aspire to have the same attitude!

  The dark side to their new personality

  the bible tells us to transform our personality so that we become better people and pleasant.

  so, as jw, we were all supposed to do that.. it's funny, but most jw's i know, also transformed their personality into something more hateful.. maybe they stopped doing bad things that were apparent, but they also started doing hateful things that they didn't do before such as shun people or ignore their own brothers and sisters who don't see exactly eye to eye with the org.

  as well as divide families, which they didn't do before becoming jw's.. i rather their old personality, before they became jw's.. .

  After I started to stray from the ORG was when I got meaner I refused to have friendships with other people even the guys in my unit for a while. I kindof didn't see a point to them.
